    Police wrote a few dozen tickets in a couple of hours just a few blocks away from Capitol Expressway and McLaughlin Avenue, an intersection where crashes have fallen from 12 to eight. Most citations were for speeding, others for jumping into a right-turn-only lane and then continuing straight.
