SJ Police shoot at Cinco de Mayo suspect

San Jose police said that at approximately 8:37 p.m. Sunday officers assigned to Cinco de Mayo patrols in the area of S. King and Story roads spotted a Ford sports utility vehicle wanted in connection with a firearms brandishing that had been reported in a nearby shopping center parking lot.

Men Held in San Jose's 7th Homicide Had Criminal Past

Alain Calvillo, 20; Filberto Barreto Lopez, 20; and Francisco Bartolo Chavez, 23, are accussed of killed the 22-year-old Cadle Saturday in the 1800 block of Sarasota Way.

The three men were arrested at about 11:14 p.m. Saturday night after officers found them in the area of S. King and Story roads.

Three arrested in San Jose fatal weekend stabbing

Joseph Michael Robidoux-Cadle, 22, of San Jose was stabbed in the 1800 block of Sarasota Way at 4:05 p.m. Saturday in an incident police believe was gang-related.

Officers identified the Acura Integra later that day, and located it in the 1500 block of June Avenue, not far from the stabbing.

The three were driving in the area of South King and Story roads, Calvillo in the Acura Integra and Lopez and Chavez in a white 2004 Ford Mustang.

Gang killing victim in San Jose identified, suspects arrested

Police said the three were in a white 1993 Acura Integra when they spotted Robidoux-Cadle walking in the 1800 block of Sarasota Way, just east of Highway 101, at 4:05 p.m. Saturday. They ran after him, beat him and stabbed him multiple times.

Later that night, tips from witnesses led detectives down the street, where they found the Integra in the 1500 block of June Avenue. At 11:15 p.m., they arrested all three suspects nearby at King and Story roads. Police declined to release the details until late Tuesday.
