Mailbox

Has anyone heard what's behind the removal of the mailbox at Camden & Coleman Rd.? It has been there for many a year and was very convienent for dropping off that last minute letter. Also, why wouldn't they let us know in advance? I'm not even sure where the next closest mailbox is...
